Merry Christmas Abbe

Abbe must be so happy. She loves the snow so much and has been spending a lot of time outside with us. And to top that off, Savannah has been so affectionate with her. She was hugging her and talking to her the other day, and said "Hey Abigail - hey sweetie pie!". So cute!

Merry Christmas

I love this one - Siena keeps one thumb in her mouth while touching the ornament with the other hand. She sucks her thumb all day!
We got a TON of snow -- Savannah seems to not be super into it - she doesn't want to stay out long - sigh - hopefully one day she will! Sean ended up making the snowman by himself while she watched from the window because she didn't want to help him!

December is here!

Today Siena is 6 mths old! It's hard to believe how quickly time flies.
We had a nice Thanksgiving - so much to be thankful for.
Took the girls to see Santa - they both loved it. And sorry Santa, but when I got Siena back in my arms, there was a handful of your beard in her hand --- oops! She's grabbing everything these days. She's sitting and such a happy girl. She smiles nonstop. What fun! Savannah said she was thankful for "baby" on Thanksgiving. Savannah is great too - 2 1/2 years old ... wow does time fly! We're in the midst of potty training now - she's doing great with it, and today when she went potty and I said "I'm so proud of you Savannah", she said "you're welcome mom!" Today we got a dusting of snow and she was excited to see it and then this afternoon said "The snow is all gone, I want more snow" -- Don't worry baby, you just wait and you'll be sorry you said that :)

Visit from Aunt Khaki

Here's Siena just playing around on the floor - what an adorable face! She's 5 mths old already - sometimes I wish I could just stop the time for a minute - it's going by too fast. And to think the poor babe is sick again - croup and ear infection - still smiling today despite being under the weather.
My little sis, Kelly, came to visit from Milwaukee last weekend. She and Siena spent a lot of time bonding together. We had a hard time prying Siena's hands out of her mouth for a picture.

It was fun hanging out - we ran errands and she of course, helped me to organize my life and house a little - maybe that's where Savannah gets her organization skills.

We miss you already so much Khaki - promise us it'll be again soon!

Halloween

It was a fun weekend. My sister, Stacie, came to visit from Milwaukee. We had fun doing all the Halloween festivities.

Stac took Savannah trick or treating while I got Siena ready. Savannah got it and kept telling her "one more house for more candy" ... they came back w/ cold fingers and noses, but lots of candy too!

Aunt Sassy and Siena spent some quality time together - looks like they both had fun with their big smiles!
